Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik says he's Marathi too, repeats his allegations

MUMBAI: Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik who has been making allegations against Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede since the cruise drugs case in which actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was arrested, today said that he is also as much as a Marathi man as is Wankhede and his family and repeated that he has more facts on the drug racket that he will reveal in days to come. 

Referring to Wankhede's wife actor Kranti Redkar writing a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray seeking justice for her family, saying that she was a Marathi girl and grew up following Shiv Sena which has fought for the rights of Marathi people, Malik said his family to has been in this city for 70 years.

"Is Nawab Malik not a Marathi? I was born in 1959 & have been a citizen of this city," Malik said during his media address today morning. 

Wankhede is battling a series of allegations levelled against him in connection with the drugs on cruise case involving Aryan Khan, as the witnesses in the cases namely Prabhakar Sail former bodyguard of another witness Kiran Gosavi has levelled allegations that Gosavi was trying to extort a huge sum of money on behalf of Wankhede.

Gosavi himself disappeared after it was revealed that he was wanted in a cheating case in Pune. He was arrested on Thursday, 29 October from the outskirts of Pune and the police said that in the last 15 days, Gosavi was roaming across India, including Hyderabad, Lucknow, Fatehpur Sikri, Panvel, Jalgaon and Lonavala, before he came to Pune.

Malik said, "You'll see that situation has completely changed. The man who was dragging Aryan Khan to NCB office is now behind bars." 

Talking about Wankhede approaching the Bombay High Court to transfer the probe against him by the Mumbai Police to the central agency Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Malik said that, "The man who was doing everything to ensure that Aryan Khan & others are not given bail, was knocking the court's door yesterday."

Taking the name of Kashif Khan, India head of JFTV and also managing director of Fashion TV Malik said that he was seen on board the cruise ship 'Cordelia' along with his girlfriend in a video taken on the ship when the NCB team raided the party however he was let off since he is a friend of Wankhede. Malik also posted an 11 seconds video of Khan who is seen dancing with a lady. 

Malik has already alleged that Khan was on board with his girlfriend Rukmini Hood who has photos with a gun. He also said that Khan was involved in drugs and pornography rackets.

Making another allegation Malik said that NCB witness Shekhar Kamble's sign was also taken on blank pages by Wankhede in case no 22. He asked the agency to probe this as well along with other allegations levelled by an anonymous letter that highlights several wrong doings of Wankhede.
